Abstract

This work shows the implementation of temperature control with different advanced control techniques such as NPI nonlinear integral proportional controller, control by SMC sliding modes and control by numerical methods based on linear algebra MNAL applied to the reactor station of the Process Control laboratory of the National Polytechnic School, The objective is to provide a guide for the implementation of advanced control techniques previously designed for a real laboratory system and thereby understand the modeling of the system and the analysis of robustness through experiments with perturbations. These techniques provide better performance than traditional techniques, such as disturbance attenuation, path tracking, robustness, and noise sensitivity. The experimental comparison is made using different performance indices (ISE, IAE, TVu).
