Abstract

This study compares a Dual-Adaptive PID controller with an existing adaptive PID controller, tested on nonlinear systems with variable parameters under changes in set point, disturbances, and noise. Performance metrics such as settling time, overshoot, Integral of Squared Error (ISE), and Integral of Squared Control Output (ISCO) were evaluated. The results demonstrate that the Dual-Adaptive PID controller achieves superior performance across these metrics, indicating its effectiveness in handling the complexities of nonlinear systems.
