Abstract

This paper proposes a virtual laboratory for teaching advanced control of a non-linear variable delay system and a multivariable system. For each one of these processes, the user has the possibility to obtain the First Order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) reduce model from the reaction curves of the system in open loop, also validate the model against the non-linear system, and finally test five control techniques among classic and robust. The results are shown in an interactive way with a Human Machine Interface (HMI).
