Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of cascade control and feedforward compensation in improving system performance in the presence of disturbances and complex dynamics. It aims to evaluate an integrated architecture using a Generalized Model Control (GMC) algorithm as the main controller, with two feedforward configurations. Key contributions include: (i) a practical implementation framework, (ii) analysis of modeling, tuning, nonlinearities, stability, and (iii) guidelines for deploying this control strategy in real-world settings.
