Abstract

In this work a didactic module is designed and assembled; this module allows to control the level in 2 tanks simultaneously, also a flow controller is included in its internal loop. The model is implemented in Simulink. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) is done in LabVIEW, this HMI contains the controllers. The coupling analysis is carried out with the linearization of the non-linear model in simulation and with reaction curves in the implementation. The design and tuning of PID, Cascade and Feedforward controllers are made based on reaction curves using FIT3 and the Integral Square Error (ISE) compares the results obtained in both simulation and implementation.
