Abstract

The present work shows the application of a new controller based on the combination of the internal model structure with the sliding mode theory to a non-linear system. The results show the response of the system for a variable delay. This new proposal is compared against the sliding mode controller using the ISE performance index. Results show effective chattering decreasing without the system being unstable.
