Abstract

The objective of this work is to present the comparison between a traditional PI controller and two advanced control strategies (Nonlinear proportional-integral controller NPI and control by numerical methods based on linear algebra MNAL), for the monitoring of temperature trajectories applied in a batch reactor station of the Festo brand with nonlinear dynamics. These control techniques' performance is measured and compared through the ISE, IAE, and TVu index.
