note = "Funding Information: In May 2019, a third Biennial Meeting on GH and IGF research was held at the Shakespeare Theatre of Universidad San Francisco de Quito. It received the kind support of the Pfizer Corporation represented by Meryem Nimour, Cecilia Camacho-Hubner and Carlos Estevez, as well as of Ipsen Inc., represented by Abdelali Majdi and Antonio Ribeiro-Oliveira, who provided an educational grant for the students attending the lectures. The first day focused on GH and the second on the current perspectives about IGF-I. Once again, clinical cases or brief introductions by USFQ faculty members along with lectures given by sixteen worldwide experts in the field were presented. Selected manuscripts containing each lecture were submitted to GHIR for standard peer-review and publication. Jan Frystyk, its Editor-in-Chief, once again, kindly provided his expert guidance and advice during the process and now we proudly present this Special Issue to the endocrine community.",
