Abstract
The aim of this work is to present a modeling scheme for the control of industrial complexes of continuous plants. Processes have interactions among them. For this purpose the paper presents a theoretical support of a generalized three level Hybrid Control model and the way to achieve its implementation. The superior level is a supervisor for a Discrete Event Dynamic System while the lower level performs the control for the process units in a Continuous/Discrete Event Dynamic System. The paper shows the interface between the continuous and discrete systems and the supervision via optimization of the whole plant in a multi-level, multi-modeled complex of process units.
