Abstract

This analysis of the book Los crímenes de Bartow by Óscar Vela presented in this article is based on the Law and Literature Studies, the systemic theories of literature and the studies of the best seller. The book is based on well-known case turned into a novel, which explains the complexities lived by Nelson Serrano, an Ecuadorian prisoner sentenced to death in a prison in the United States.
