Abstract

In the present work, a Sliding Mode Controller (SMC) was implemented in a Synchronous Buck Converter (SBC) to regulate output power. Several applications in renewable energies such as, power stability in photovoltaic panels, motivated this paper realization. The SMC was compared with a benchmark regulator such as, Proportional–Integral (PI) controller. Tracking and robustness results were analyzed through the Integral Absolute Error (IAE) criterion.
