Abstract

In this paper, it is introduced a new concept, called "social set point", in order to define a reference point from the requirements of a set of components of a system. This concept is very useful in the context of multiagent systems and smart environments, where there are different components with different goals and specifications, and they need to collaborate among them to reach global goals. In this case, it is required the definition of a social set point, which considers the different necessity of these components. The concept is used in a smart classroom. The smart classroom is modeled using multiagent systems, which goal is to improve the learning process.
