Abstract

This work proposes a tuning parameters optimization approach for Dynamical Sliding Mode Controllers developed from a reduced model using optimization criteria and restrictions which are given by performance factors that the process must reach. Simulations are carried on a nonlinear system with variable delay previously develop in Baez et al. (2017), and the controllers in this previous work are compared against a DSMC with this new tuning proposal using the ISE performance index.
