Abstract

Sport participation, consumption, and management have become globally oriented, and the international appeal of the sport industry has driven the need to internationalize sport management curricula (Weese, 2020). To meet the demands of global markets, diverse cultures, and international regulations, sport management programs must embrace an international perspective, equipping students with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. By doing so, students can better understand how to manage teams, events, and sports organizations across different countries, while considering the economic, political, and cultural nuances that shape the global sport ecosystem.
