Fuzzy-Based Compensators for Inverse Response Systems: A Practical Laboratory Evaluation

Resumen

This paper conducts a comparative analysis of control strategies based on fuzzy logic for systems with inverse responses. The study evaluates two control approaches: a Fuzzy Logic PI controller and the Iinoya Fuzzy Logic compensator. It improves control engineering education by providing hands-on experience with fuzzy logic by comparing two controllers using the TCLab testbed, a reference device used in control engineering education. A comparison is performed, considering ISE and ISCO indices, maximum overshoot, and settling time for each controller used.
