Once more, many of the most talented specialists in the field gave their talks and shared their updated discoveries and talent with Ecuadorian physicians and medical students. We now proudly present yet another GHIR Special Issue containing selected manuscripts derived from our 2019 biennial reunion. We acknowledged that the corresponding USFQ-2021 reunion will probably be postponed for a year due to the pandemics; however, our best hopes to continue hosting this unique academic event remain intact.",
