Resumen
After the arrival of COVID-19, multiple changes were generated, teleworking represented one of them, forcing companies to adapt internal communication management. Within this process, organizations and managers had to adapt to current needs. This article exposes the results of a descriptive study that investigated the practices (tools, channels and messages) used in the labor reintegration process in Latin America, the role assumed by leaders in this context and their involvement in internal communication management. Methodologically, it presents a mixed approach, which used the survey addressed to communication managers and the in-depth interview conducted with business leaders. The results show the actions of internal communication and of the leader in the process of labor reinsertion in times of pandemic, their participation in the construction of the strategy, experiences and motivations to connect with their collaborators.
