N2 - We study the spontaneous scalarization of charged black holes in Einstein's gravity minimally coupled to power-Maxwell electrodynamics which, in turn, is non-minimally coupled to a real scalar field. We point out the existence of a specific power for which the scalarized solution is well-behaved, and entropically preferred in comparison to the scalar-free charged black hole solution.
